How to Fix iPad/iPhone/iPod iOS Device Detection Problem

Note: Appandora now has been officially renamed Syncios.

Before reading the tutorial, you need to make sure:

1.Please make sure that your device is Apple device;

2.Please make sure that your iDevice is ordered in legal way;

3.Please make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of iTunes.

If iTunes couldn't detect your iDevice normally, you could try the solutions below:

1. Change your USB cable or make the interface of USB cable connect to the backend of computer.

2. Change other computer to try.

3. Use other's iPhone to connect with your computer and see if it could be recognized by iTunes. If it cannot either, it turns out that there's something wrong with your computer.

4. Uninstall iTunes completely and reinstall it. We suggest you could read the occasion two below to learn how to uninstall iTunes completely.

If your iPad/iPhone/iPod is connected to computer normally, but both of iTunes and Appandora iOS Manager couldn't detect your device, please try the following solutions:



Occasion One: Please check whether iTunes related services(Apple Mobile Device, Bonjour Service) are turned on or not.

Solution:

Step 1.In Window 7 system, press Windows +R on your keyboard and input services.msc to the search box, then press enter to open the file. In Windows XP, click start > Run, then input services.msc to the search box and press enter to open the file.

Step 2.Right click "Apple Mobile Device" and "Bonjour Service" to check if they are turned on or not.

Step 3.If not, set Startup type as Automatic and click Start to run.




Occasion Two: Please check whether iTunes support library are loaded successfully or not.

If you have already installed iTunes and still get the message while launching Appandora, it is probably because your iTunes is not installed completely. Please follow the steps below to fix this problem:

Solution:

Step 1. Launch iTunes and see if iTunes could detect the device or not.

Step 2.Uninstall iTunes completely and reinstall iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

The guide on how to uninstall iTunes completely: Take Windows 7 for example: Open Control Panel on your computer - Programs and Features - Uninstall or Change a Program - Find out the suffix of files which named Apple Inc. - Uninstall all the files with Apple Inc.(No matter you have 5 Apple Inc files or 7 Apple Inc files, all of them sould be uninstalled) - Reinstall iTunes.
